Biscuit is a study app made and sold by Adrian, a student running Biscuit as a sole trader in England, United Kingdom. Contact: biscuitstudyapp@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 2 working days. If you need our postal address (for example, to send a formal letter), email us and we'll give it to you.
Biscuit is software that runs on your own computer. When you pay, you get a licence key that lets you use Biscuit for the time and plan you paid for. You're buying the right to use the software, not the software itself.
You can use everything free for 7 days. You don't need a card, and the trial doesn't turn into a paid plan by itself. One free trial per person and per computer.
If you buy by 30 November 2026, you pay once: £3.75 (Base) or £6.99 (Enhanced) for your first 3 months, with the add-ons included. It's a one-off payment and does not renew automatically. Before your 3 months end, we'll email you how to carry on at the normal price (£4.49 or £7.99 a month, or £35.99 or £63.99 a year, add-ons optional). If you don't, your access simply ends, and everything you made stays on your computer.
Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices include any VAT that applies. Your licence key is sent to the email address you paid with, usually within a day.
If a key is misused, we may stop it working. We'll tell you why first, and refund any unused time if it was a genuine mistake.
Your chats, notes, files and recordings stay on your computer and are never uploaded to us. What we do keep (like your email address when you sign up) is explained in our privacy notice.
Updates and fixes are free while your licence is active. Biscuit tells you in the app when one is out. We may improve or change features over time, but we won't take away the core features you paid for during the time you paid for.
We work hard to make Biscuit reliable, but we can't promise it will never have a bug, and we're not responsible for exam results, missed deadlines or decisions made using its answers. Keep backups of anything important. If something goes wrong because of us, the most we're responsible for is what you paid us in the last 12 months. This doesn't limit anything the law doesn't allow us to limit, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and, for anything important, email you before it affects you. The terms you agreed to when you paid apply to that payment.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts. If there's ever a problem, please email us first: we'll do our best to sort it out quickly.
